  • complying with national and international laws and social regulations on road transport
  • managing, servicing and maintaining the vehicles
  • preparing the vehicles for the transport of goods, accepting the goods, securing the load and checking the accompanying documentation
  • taking measures to resolve faults in the vehicles
  • behaving appropriately in the event of accidents and incidents, especially in terms of securing sites of accidents and danger points and providing first aid
  • procuring information, evaluating it, coordinating dates and organising journeys considering commercial aspects
